Viewloop Privacy Policy
Effective Date: February 12, 2026
Introduction
Welcome to Viewloop ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices. This privacy policy explains how we handle information when you use our macOS application.
Information Collection
We Do Not Collect Personal Data
Viewloop is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about our users. The app functions entirely on your device, and we have no access to your photos, videos, or usage data.
Local Device Storage
All media files you view in Viewloop remain on your device. The app reads images and videos directly from folders you select — nothing is copied, uploaded, or cached outside of system memory during use.
We do not have access to any files you view.
How We Use Information
Since we don't collect any personal information, we don't use your data for any purpose. All app functionality occurs locally on your device.
Third-Party Services
Viewloop does not use any third-party services, analytics, or tracking frameworks. There are no ads, no telemetry, and no network requests.
Data Security
All files remain on your device and are protected by your Mac's built-in security features, including the macOS App Sandbox. Viewloop only has read access to folders you explicitly select.
Children's Privacy
Our app does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
